How does Near Field Communications (NFC) technology work?

  • NFC solutions from Over-C take the guesswork out of managing field operations, speed up communication and enable real time reporting:

 

  • When one of your field personnel touches a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag with their RFID-enabled mobile phone, a two way communication channel is automatically opened between your back office and your operative.

 

  • Your personnel can then receive the latest instructions, tasks or data connected, individually tailored to their current location. And you can accurately and definitively track staff movements. RFID tags are small, discreet and inexpensive, so they can be placed in an extremely diverse range of situations; both fixed sites and on mobile assets.

 

  • The whole process is managed through the Over-C online control panel, so there is no need for costly software. And the only special requirement for your field personnel is that they can use a mobile phone.
